기아자동차 해외영본부장 시절 나와 환상의 콤비를 이뤄 독일 프랑크푸르트 유럽 지역 본부장으로 일했던 J-C Lievens. 그를 채용할 때 내가 독일 프랑크푸르트까지 가서 인터뷰를 했고, 나와 2년 동안 같이 일했다. 내가 2003년 1월에 기아차를 떠난지 8년이 지났지만 아직도 이렇게 소식을 주고 받는다. 나의 지시를 따라 성실하게 업무에 임했던 프랑스인 Jean-Charles. 기아자동차의 현지 대리점 직영 전환 계획을 최고경영자의 재가를 받아 실적이 부진한 유럽 현지 11개국의 대리점을 인수하는 프로젝트를 15개월 만에 해치웠던 추진력에 그도 늘 기억하며 그리워하고 있는 것 같다.

2001년 부터 2003년 1월까지 같이 일하던 시절의 추억을 상기시켜 주고 있다. 그때 처럼 일하는 재미로 살았던 때도 없는 것 같다는 생각은 J-C 도 마찬가지 인지 늘 그때를 그리워 한다. I love you J-C

Kam Sam Mita for your kind message ..! Yes indeed 2011 is almost gone but has been VERY challenging for all of us . Business practises are becoming complicated and unpredictable so FLEXIBILTY and CALM are key words !!! The MORNING CALM has been a good school for me under your supervision !!!

You might know that Huyndai France and Germany have been taken over from FREY group and new subsidaries will be operational from JAN 1.2012 ....KIA did it long ago ...!!! Remember ?

11 new KIA subsidaries in 15 months will remain for ever a milestone in KIA s history !!!

Weather here in totally crazy ...Today on Atlantic ocean we had lunch on the terrasse ...Blue sky..Sun ..and 17 deg !!! Usually we should be at 5 or 6 deg with clouds ...rain..cold And fire place at Maximum level !!!

My daughter is visiting China ( Beijng and Shanghai but also several provinces where the famous transparent ceramic is produced by artisits ) The demand for such ceramic is incredible in Europe !!!

Dear Mark.... A fantastic 2012 Olympic year for you and your relatives ... ! !! All the best to the mountain climber !!!!
