지난 월요일은 현대자동차 퇴임임원 모임인 자우회의 신년하례회 때문에 정기 월요산행을 미루었던 것을 오늘 2009년 신년 시산회를 가졌다. 금년도 사고없는 좋은 산행을 기워하면서...
Due to HMC Ret'd HMC Executives Club's New Year's Greetings on Monday the 5th, our Monday hiking had to be postponed and we had the first hiking of the year, on January 7 with a wish we should have safe hikings in 2009.

여름에 걸어놓은 수영급지 경고 표시가 아직도 걸려있다. 계곡 얼어붙은 물을 깨고 수영할 사람이 있을까? 캠페인성 설치물은 설치도 중요하지만 제거하는 것도 잊어서는 안될 일인 것 같다.
A sign put up during the last summer says 'swiming is prohibited'. Anybody intends to swim in frozen water? I do't think so.

올겨울은 서울 경기 지방은 몹시 가물었다. 계곡에 쌓인 눈이 전혀 없다. 등산로도 무척이나 말라있다. 모처럼 얼어붙은 계곡의 작은 폭포가 반갑다. 아래 사진들을 클릭하면 확대해서 볼 수있다.
Owing to the drought this winter with little snow, there was no remaining snow even in the shadowy vallley and the trail was pretty dry. Click the little phots to enlarge to enjoy more.

북한산성에서 백운대를 오르기 위해서는 필히 통과해야 하는 위문의 문패를 떼어 내고 있다. 작업하는 이들에게 왜 떼어 내느냐고 물었더니 원래 문의 이름이 암문(暗門)이였으나 일정 때 일본사람들이 임의로 바꾸어 놓았기 때문에 원상복구시킬 계획이라고 했다.
There is Wimun which is the last gateway to the Baegundai, the summit of Bukhasan. The nameboard of 'Wimun' was being removed to replace with its original name 'Ahmmun'.

주차장에서 출발한지 딱 두시간만에 정상에 다달았다. 새해 안전한 산행을 기원하면서 만세!
Hurrah! Finally we reached the Baegundae after two-hour-hiking from the parking lot at the base.

백운대에서 본 만경대와 그 넘어 연봉들이 씰루엣으로. 이제 보니 모두 올라가본 연봉이다.

지금까지 계곡을 따라 황경을 훼손하고 어지럽게 만든 사람들은 당국의 북한산 계곡 정화계획에 항변하고 있다. 결국 저들이 원하는 것은 철거 보상비를 더 받아내자는 것이 아닐까?
An important project is now taking place to retore the national park which is severely damaged and polluted by the unlawful residents and merchants. The banners are showing a stubborn resistance and objections from the merchants. However, we need the restoration of the national park for protection of nature and environments.
